Wine and Food

Not only is Que Syrah closer to home than other wine bars I frequent, it’s also one of the few open on Sunday afternoons. I had worked out at the gym late afternoon, and I arrived on West Portal just before dark. The sign outside Que Syrah advertised this week’s flight: Big Napa Reds.

So, I enjoyed the flight with an order of olives.

It was Sunday afternoon, and I was at Que Syrah, for their Funky Red Blends flight.

After the red flight, accompanied by a three cheese plate, I enjoyed a glass of Madeira.

Then, I went home for a quiet Sunday evening.

I stopped at Que Syrah on the way home from work, this evening. I did not have my camera, so there are no pictures. I enjoyed this week’s three-wine flight—three California red wines—with three cheeses, and I followed the flight with a glass of my favorite of the three wines.

It was already crowded at Que Syrah, just after 4pm, when I stopped by for the Pisoni Vineyards wine tasting. So, I did not take any pictures, but I did bring home a bottle of wine. And, I signed up for the Pisoni Vineyards mailing list.
