After work, I took the California Street cable car to the Masonic Center, at top of Nob Hill, to see Bobby McFerrin, Chick Corea and Jack DeJohnette. It was a wonderful show, but the most impossible to describe since I saw the Mahavishnu Orchestra at UNC, back in the 1970s.
This morning, I attended a 2-hour, advanced class in paper airplanes, taught by John M. Collins, "The Paper Airplane Guy", author of "Fantastic Flight" and "Gliding Flight", at BookShop West Portal.
I had attended a much shorter paper airplane class (where I was the only adult unaccompanied by a child) in July, and it left me eager to try some of the more complicated designs.
I went to Bimbo's tonight, with HoyHoy, to see the Puppini Sisters.
We were both impressed with the Puppini Sisters and their band.
This morning, I went to a short class on folding and flying paper airplanes by John M. Collins, "The Paper Airplane Guy", author of "Fantastic Flight" and "Gliding Flight", at BookShop West Portal.
I was one of four adults who folded and few airplanes — perhaps the only one unaccompanied by children. But, all the students — of all ages — had fun.
This blog is about going out to concerts, events, parades, plays, speeches, etc.
