Friday night means Red Hots Burlesque, at the El Rio. And, tonight's show was hosted by the incomparable Kitten on the Keys! Also, the Belles du Jour, Mable Sugar and Dottie Lux! And, an instructive and deeply inspiring video by Val Killmore!

It's not that long until Monday, April 21, when Leon Redbone will be at the Great American Music Hall, in San Francisco. Today at work, I was listening to Red to Blue:
After work, I took the California Street cable car to the Masonic Center, at top of Nob Hill, to see Bobby McFerrin, Chick Corea and Jack DeJohnette. It was a wonderful show, but the most impossible to describe since I saw the Mahavishnu Orchestra at UNC, back in the 1970s.
